Nils Olsson Dalahästar was founded by the brothers Nils and Jannes Olsson in 1928 and to this day the Dalahästar are still manufactured in Nusnäs in Dalarna. Behind every horse is love, craftsmanship and tradition.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p2\"\u003eThe history of the Dala horse dates back to the 18th century. The traditional craft still lives on today. The horses are carved to their final shape with a mora knife before being painted and decorated by hand. The characteristic pattern is called krusmålning and because the decoration is painted freehand, each Dala horse is unique.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p2\"\u003eFor our Mon Bistro Dala Horse, classic craftsmanship has met our own world of colors.
