The story behind Mon Bistro

Mon Bistro began with a love of color, shape, good food and personal homes.

We've always loved the feel of a really good bistro. The murmur of people around the tables. The smell of freshly brewed espresso. A glass of wine that lingers after dinner. Small hotels you never want to check out of and restaurants where you stay a little longer than you intended.

We wanted to take that feeling home with us.

For us, a home is about so much more than furniture and things. It's about setting a nice table on a regular Tuesday. Inviting friends over for dinner. Lighting candles on a dark evening. Picking flowers on the way home. Cooking together and creating a place where people feel comfortable and are happy to stay a little longer.

That's where the idea for Mon Bistro was born.

In the spring of 2025, we started Mon Bistro in our hometown of Varberg. From here, we handpick products from brands we love and develop our own range under Mon Bistro.

We don't choose products just because they follow a trend or sell well. We choose things we want to live with. Products that are used over and over again and become a natural part of everyday life.

We draw inspiration from travel, hotels, restaurants, wine bars, local markets and small bistros. From places where there is personality, warmth and life.

Mon Bistro is our interpretation of that feeling.

We are a family business and it is noticeable quite quickly when you get to know us. We want to be close to our customers, provide really good service and build relationships that last. For us, a warm welcome is as important as the products we sell.
