Cravan: Cocktails and More: Recipes from Paris

Crave takes you straight into the Parisian bar world. A book filled with cocktails, small dishes and snacks to serve with the drinks, with inspiration from one of Paris' most talked about cocktail bars and the feeling of Paris' coolest addresses collected between two covers.

Franck Audoux opened the first Cravan in 2019 in a historic Hector Guimard building in the sixteenth arrondissement of Paris. The small bar with only 20 seats quickly became an address for those who knew where to go. Today, Cravan has also grown to five floors in Saint-Germain, with the same philosophy at the center: really good cocktails, elegance and simplicity.

In the book you will find around thirty cocktail recipes, from new versions of classics such as Tom Collins and French 75 to Cravan's own drinks such as Tunnel, Archi, Luco and Lady from Shanghai. There are also tips and techniques for the home bar, along with recipes for smaller dishes and bar bites.

Behind the book is Franck Audoux, bartender, restaurateur, historian and creative director of Cravan. He also co-founded the Paris restaurants Chateaubriand and Dauphin. Vincent Chaperon from Dom Pérignon features in the book.

A very nice book for those who love Paris, cocktails, gastronomy and French culture. Just as given at the home bar as on the coffee table.
