Elisabeth Denim Napkin

A colorful detail that makes the whole table setting.

The Elisabeth Denim cloth napkin from Tissage de Luz is made in France from a beautiful blend of cotton and linen. The deep blue-gray base is combined with thin lines in yellow, pink, green, red and blue, creating a checkered pattern full of character.

The blend of cotton and linen gives the napkin a soft and natural feel while falling beautifully on the table. The colors add life and personality to the table setting while the darker base makes it easy to combine with both classic china and more colorful details.

The napkin is made in Espelette in the French Basque Country by Tissage de Luz, a family business that has been weaving home textiles since 1908. With over a hundred years of experience and a strong focus on quality, sustainability and local craftsmanship, the entire collection is made in France and is certified with the AFNOR Origine France Garantie.

Tissage de Luz works with carefully selected natural materials, including GOTS-certified organic cotton and European linen. The dyeing processes are developed to reduce environmental impact and all treatments are PFAS-free in accordance with Oeko-Tex® standards.

Care advice

All textiles from Tissage de Luz are made from natural fibers and dyes with consideration for both the environment and people. The fabrics are delivered untreated straight from the loom, which gives them their natural feel and character.

A natural shrinkage of approximately 8% in the lengthwise direction occurs after the first wash. Therefore, the napkins are sold slightly larger than their final size.

Before first use, we recommend washing in a cold wool program without detergent, followed by a wash at 30°C with a small amount of regular detergent.

The napkin can then be machine washed at 60°C with regular detergent. Please wash separately the first few times and avoid leaving the fabric damp in the washing machine.

For best results when ironing, lightly dampen the fabric and use a warm iron.
