Elisabeth Cottage Tablecloth
A tablecloth that makes the whole table setting.
Elisabeth Cottage from Tissage de Luz is a tablecloth in a colorful check pattern and with a warm olive brown base. The combination gives the tablecloth a warm and vibrant expression that feels just as right for autumn long dinners as it does for summer garden lunches.
It is the colors that make Elisabeth Cottage so special. The clear lines in blue, yellow, pink, green and orange create a modern interpretation of the classic checkered tablecloth and make it easy to combine with both colorful china and more neutral table settings.
The tablecloth is made in Espelette in the French Basque Country by Tissage de Luz, a family business that has been weaving home textiles since 1908. With over a hundred years of experience and a strong focus on quality, sustainability and local craftsmanship, the entire collection is made in France and is certified with the Origine France Garantie.
Tissage de Luz works with carefully selected natural materials, including GOTS-certified organic cotton and European linen. The dyeing processes are developed to reduce environmental impact and all treatments are PFAS-free in accordance with Oeko-Tex® standards.
The blend of cotton and linen gives the tablecloth a soft and natural feel while also drapes beautifully over the table. A tablecloth that is just as suitable for everyday use as it is for parties, and becomes even more beautiful when used.

Care advice
All fabrics from Tissage de Luz are made from natural fibers and dyes with respect for both the environment and people. The fabrics are delivered untreated straight from the loom, which gives them their natural feel and character.
A natural shrinkage of approximately 10% in the lengthwise direction occurs after the first wash. Therefore, the tablecloths are sold slightly longer than their final size.
Before first use, we recommend washing in a cold wool program without detergent, followed by a wash at 30°C with a small amount of regular detergent.
The cloth can then be machine washed at 60°C with regular detergent. Please wash separately the first few times and avoid leaving the fabric damp in the washing machine.
For best results when ironing, lightly dampen the fabric and use a warm iron.
