Veark KDM08 Kudamono knife 8 cm
A Kudamono knife is a traditional Japanese small kitchen knife. The word "kudamono" means fruit in Japanese and the knife is primarily used for peeling and cutting fruit and vegetables. It can be described as the Japanese equivalent of a paring knife and is perfect for precise tasks in the kitchen.
The KDM08 is part of Veark's fully forged knife series. The knife is forged from a single piece of stainless steel by experienced craftsmen in the renowned knife city of Solingen in Germany, known for its long tradition of knife making.
The collection is based on the idea that the knife is a tool, perhaps the most important tool in the kitchen. The design draws inspiration from classic metal tools and gives the knife an expression that is both functional and visually distinctive.
The forging process gives each knife a unique pattern in the handle. A beautiful detail that makes each knife unique and at the same time reminds us of the solid craftsmanship behind the manufacturing.
All forged knives from Veark are completely symmetrical and are equally suitable for left- and right-handed users.
